What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead.

therapist online session

Hello, and welcome to my practice. I am so glad you found your way here.

Reaching out for support is an act of strength and courage, and I am honoured to walk alongside you in your journey.

I specialize in supporting folks through developmental trauma (complex trauma), grief and perinatal (postpartum) challenges. I have been doing this work for almost 20 years, and continue to feel inspired and fulfilled by witnessing the resilience and growth of my clients. The interconnectedness that we share in this world is vital to our wellbeing, and I value every relationship I have built with clients over the years.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy from Wilfrid Laurier University, and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from McGill University, with a focus on the use of creative arts therapies in grief and bereavement. My work experience has taken me from the oncology and palliative care units in hospitals across Montreal, to counselling youth in community walk-in centers, to providing crisis and counselling support Canada-wide. My focus shifted towards a curiosity in mental health during the perinatal period when I experienced my own pregnancy losses, transition to parenthood and postpartum. I have always been curious about these moments of transition in our lives, whether end of life or birth- that can be filled with uncertainty and grief. Weaving the unspoken into my work has always been a draw to me- from music and creative arts therapies to somatically oriented psychotherapy practices. Bringing in current knowledge of how our experiences shape our present realities and how we handle present challenges has added depth and immense healing to myself and my clients.

My practice brings together a wealth of education, experience and ongoing learning- from scholars and leaders in the field, but more importantly, from my clients. I strive to work in a way that is anti-oppressive, anti-racist, de-colonial, relational and attachment focused. I recognize the lived experience of folks and the impact of systemic oppression, as well as my own privileges and social location. I want the therapy space to be a place where you can truly feel seen and heard, that you are not alone, and that you matter.
